Maman is dedicated to raising awareness about the events of October 7th, combating antisemitism, and bringing attention to the hostages through impactful events and public installations. Our efforts include:
Art Installations: Maman has organized significant art exhibitions, such as a stroller exhibition and a shoe installation, repeated in various areas in Los Angeles and schools nationwide, including Cornell and UCLA. These exhibitions have garnered attention from the press and social media influencers, amplifying awareness.
Collaborations with Community Leaders: Maman collaborates with notable community leaders like Tomer Peretz to create social media content, conduct interviews, and host events to raise awareness. We’ve hosted Gala fundraisers that serve as platforms for unity and collective action, partnering with leaders like Sheila Nazarian, Lisa Daftari, Ben Savage, Los Angeles councilmember Katy Yaroslavsky, Vice Mayor Sharona Nazarian, and Israeli hostage families.
Community Activities: Beyond formal events, Maman organizes community activities such as yoga, sound baths, and dance sessions, fostering conversations about our advocacy.
Supporting Nova Survivors: Maman assisted Nova Survivor Inor Kagno in organizing an art gallery to use his art to promote the Jewish voice.
