We have partnered with boots-on-the-ground grassroots nonprofits and providers in Israel to provide trauma support, community support, and general assistance to survivors, displaced communities, and families of soldiers. We are focused on helping these communities reclaim stability, feel immediate relief, communal connection, and find some level of normalcy for the kids.
Maman has implemented the following in Israel:
Maman adopts communities of survivors, widows, orphans, displaced families, and soldiers’ families in Israel to support them with community fun days, art therapy, talk therapy, and more.
Maman provides community meals, activities, and babysitting for the kids to alleviate stress from the moms.
Maman supports the Druze communities in Israel by working with their local mayor to provide various therapies for the families who lost their children and provide community fun days for the families and friends of the victims.
Maman assists soldiers’ wives and families with prenatal/postnatal support, doulas, holistic and science-based trauma therapy, housekeeping and childcare, and community events/meals.
Maman awards micro-grants to individual therapists and single moms to continue doing therapy and volunteer in Israel.
Maman has supported 700+ displaced families in Israel.
